Description
Our client school, in North Yorkshire, is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Specialist for a maternity cover with the potential to extend further. The role will involve teaching and ensuring progress of a Year 2 class, with 28 pupils. There will also be support within the classroom provided by an experienced Teaching Assistant.
You would be expected to run the class in accordance to the Key Stage 1 curriculum with a keen emphasis on Numeracy, to support the school in driving up attainment in Maths.
The successful candidate will have:
-Qualified Teacher Status
-Current DBS, or be willing to apply for a new DBS
-Relevant Key Stage 1 Teaching experience of 6 months minimum in the last 2 years
-Proven record of increasing pupils attainment
-Enthusiasm and passion for seeing pupils succeed
