Description
A rare opportunity has become available for a Specialist Learning Support Assistant (Hearing and Communication) in a popular Middlesbrough Academy. 123Teachers are working on behalf of our client to appoint from September 2019. This role is full time, and possibly could become permanent.
About the role:
Support deaf and hearing impaired pupils
Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Contributing to planning and delivery of lessons
Recording achievement under the guidance of a teacher
About you:
Previous experience supporting children with hearing impairments
A strong understanding of the degrees of hearing loss and varying modes of communication and support available
