Description

We are looking for a Literacy Specialist Teaching Assistant who will be required to work one-to-one with Key Stage 4 pupils. This position is to begin in May.

The key responsibilities are:

- Responsible for completing assessments and literacy interventions responding flexibly to the needs of the student as they arise.

- Responsible for recording assessments.

- Responsible for recording relevant information on Personalised Support Plans.

- Responsible for bringing key information to the Heads of School, ensuring that all pastoral information and issues are communicated.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated TA who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged. You'll also be responsible for offering encouragement and support to pupils within the classroom.
