123Teachers are looking to appoint a Primary SENCO for a permanent role, September 2019 start. Our client is based in Sunderland. As well as teaching within EYFS, the Primary SENCO’s role will also include sorting through EHCPS, carrying out one-to-one assessments of the children and assisting the admin side of the role.

The Head Teacher is looking to sit down with potential applicants immediately, giving them an understanding about the role. Preferably before the end of term.

Primary SENCO

Working alongside the Head Teacher in completing SEN tasks

Completing EHCP paper work

One-to-one assessments for SEN pupils

EYFS class teaching

September start

Permanent Role

Pay dependent upon experience

Located in Sunderland

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Qualified Primary SENCO required with QTS

Experience working as a SENCO / Inclusion Leader is preferred

Excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice & Primary Curriculum

ASC Experience within EYFS preferred

Ability to communicate well & excellent management skills

Down to earth, passionate & empathetic individual
